We celebrated on April 16th- 3 of the cutest boys first birthdays! With Keaton (March 16th), Paxton (March 17th) and Tyson (May 6th) all having their first birthday we couldn't resist having a TRIPLE HEADER! Rachael made 3 totally cute banner which read "Triple Bogey", "Happy Birthday" and "Triple Header". (Warning- I have attached enough pictures that you will feel like you were there.)
Dinner- awesome Chabota rolls, turkey and pastrami, all kinds of cheeses and cake and candy. We were well fed!

Spring Break

During Spring Break this year, the weather was not like Spring. Gary and I were going to leave the kids and go to St. George, the weather was cold and rainy everywhere so we decided to go spend a few days in Salt Lake City. We went to the Clark Planetarium and had lots of fun with cousins.

My Grandma has been placed on Hospice, so we took the kids to get pictures while we still can (she has been taken off all her medications- and is now more alert and doing better than in the pictures!). The best part about meeting Rachael and my mom to see Grandma...COUSINS!

We had lots of fun and enjoyed leaving Grandma a new book with new pictures of all her great grandkids- at least the ones from my mom and dad.

What a Surprise...

I came home from work a couple months ago (now) and found that we had 3 chickens running around our backyard. Kyler just loves them as you can see from the pictures. Gary bought 4 chickens and a house. When he got them home- one walked through the garage and was lost. The kids and Gary spent the next two days looking everywhere for the chicken and decided it had become either dinner for a neighborhood cat or dog, or it was with our neighbor's chickens. Come to find out it was making a nice home at our neighbors and when she found out it was ours, she happily brought it back. We know have four happy egg producing chickens. The Black one is Kaden's- named Blackberry, one of the brown ones is Kamryn's- named Little Jerry (thanks to daddy for helping her name it), the other brown one is Keaton's- named Red, and finally the white one is Kyler's- named Marshmellow. Marshmellow is luckily mellow, Kyler will chase her and chase her until he gets to hold her, holds her all the time and will only eat her eggs. Which are the only white ones so its easy to tell. We have learned a lot about chickens the last two months and really enjoy having them as pets.

My Baby is officially not a Baby anymore:(
We had cake and ice cream with Gary's mom, brother and family tonight. Keaton had a GREAT time being the center of attention. (party on my side coming up... it's a triple header- you won't want to miss it. Pictures coming around April 10th!)

It took a couple tastes and then he never looked back. WOW what a cutie!

I can not believe that Keaton is already ONE!
(had to have a picture of him in his birthday suit)

We get comments all the time on his red hair and blue eyes- he is ADORABLE. I tease my dad a lot, because when we were 14 or 15 he made the comment "If you ever have a kid with curly red hair and blue eyes, I'll disown you." He changed his mind when he met Keaton.

He has been the BEST baby and we are loving every minute with him. He really is a lover and does at times exhibit some "red head temper", especially at breakfast when I do not get him his food in time- his fists go up and he screams until his face is red. It's really quite funny.

He is getting into everything and is learning how to do the stairs. He pulls himself up on whatever he can reach, he loves talking on the phone and says "hi" while holding his hand to his ear. He LOVES daddy and always wants him. Keaton and Kyler are getting to be best buddies and are starting to play together! This helps me lots! Keaton loves to cuddle and is doing awesome on almond milk. He is a great eater and now weighs 17 pounds! (just like Kamryn did at one.) Kaden loves to help me with him, they play cars and video games together (keaton loves to turn off the playstation while they are playing it) Kyler always want to play in the crib with Keaton when he wakes up from his naps- it is totally cute and fun to just listen to them laugh together. It's amazing what a baby can do to bring the family closer together!

FUN Weekends!

On Sept 25th we were able to celebrate my Grandma's 90th birthday party. We had a great day and were able to get some pictures with the new babies while we were all together. This is Grandma, Keaton and Tyson.

This weekend we were able to be lucky enough to get to attend with Remington and Mindy the sealing of Paxton Steele to them! What an amazing day. I of course forgot my camera at my mom's house and missed pictures at the temple and luncheon. The sealing was (of course) emotional and the luncheon fantastic! Later we had a BBQ at my parents and then I was able to take some pictures of the cute trio.
Right before we left for our drive north, we were able to see and talk to Ryan and Sara and their adorable girls on skype. It was a GREAT day, full of FAMILY- what could be better?

August- Better Late than Never :)

In August we made it to YELLOWSTONE! We had a fantastic time and took Gary's little sister Mandi and her husband Adam (and their kids) with us and made lots of great memories!
This was after a very cold night spent sleeping in the van. I probably slept worst of all and I usually can sleep anywhere. It got down to 32 degrees and I was so worried about Keaton getting cold and waking other people up by starting the van- it was hard to sleep. SO in the morning we went to fish bridge and just as we arrived this buffalo waked up the side of the bridge and right into traffic!

We were able to get a picture of these deer swiming across the river. They are fast swimmers.

Next it was on to the rapids- Kamryn climbed out so we could take a picture.

After the mud pits we had to wait approx 20-25 minutes while a huge herd of huge buffalos crossed the road. This one crossed right in front of us-awesome!

These Buffalos walked right next to the car, you can see our shadow. Right next to the closest one was a baby, you can see his feet underneath.

Old Faithful- Cool, but not as awesome as I remember. The kids enjoyed it.

During our trip we saw deer, buffalo, a coyote, and a baby bear. Gary said the only thing we hadn't seen was Elk. Well on the way out we were able to stop and get a picture of 4 Elk.

It was a great trip and besides the cold, mosquitos, car sickness, and hotdogs that cost $6.10! We loved it and needed a family trip for some great time together.

July started off just as crazy as it's ending, but we have had loads and loads of fun. Cute pictures of all our adventures.

It was so fun to walk in to get the kids ready for bed and find Kamryn reading them all a story about tractors.

First- was the 'Cruise In' We look forward to the car parade every year. This year my dad joined us in trying to win the '65 GTO, but alas a couple from SLC won it this year. We had fun getting to see all the cars at the fairgrounds before the parade and hear Grandpa's stories about what he remembered about all the different cars. Thanks for coming Dad, we loved havin ya there!

Next it was off to Uncle Matt's and Aunt Becca's on the real 4th of July for a BBQ and Fireworks! This is becoming a tradition and we had a GREAT time. Thanks guys!

On the 17th Kamryn and Jessica were able to walk in the Day's of 47 Youth Parade! When we were 8 ish Rachael and I were able to walk too, so it was lots of fun to have them in it together- Thanks Mom! This is Taylor and Kaden all ready for the parade and any candy that would be thrown- too bad no one threw anything.

We went to my mom's and dad's after the parade and got pictures of Tyson and Keaton together. I love the look on Tyson's face, it looks like Keaton did something mean.

We had to be at the parade by 9:30 am so we left from Logan early. Needless to say everyone was tired!

We've been able to get outside now that the temperatures have finally soared and got some picture of all the boys on the patio.

Rachael and Phil got us tickets to a Bee's game- they also got us tickets for hamburgers, hotdogs and chips and drinks. THANK YOU! We had fun and got to watch the fireworks after. I did not see much of the game in between getting the food for my crew, a screaming baby and a hungry one too! But the fireworks after were awesome!

Keaton did not tolerate the noise of the loudspeaker. Poor Kid.

Jessica and Kamryn- they had a blast!- Oops I just deleted the picture of Kaden and Taylor, they had fun too. Thanks to Uncle Randy for buying Kaden some fries so he did not starve!

We were able to take Jessica and Taylor home with us after the Bee's game. The following pictures are of them on Sunday at Gary's mom's house. Uncle Greg loves to tease and pester- enjoy the pictures.

On Monday we went and check out the new splash pad in Providence with Angie and the kids. Cute picture of Porter and Kyler.

July sure has been fun! We have also spent lots and lots of nights at the ward garden-weeding, tilling and pickin peas. Garden's sure are fun, but need lots of attention. SO Thanks to everyone for planning and inviting us to lots of fun things in July- we sure have lots of great MEMORIES!

A GrEaT Weekend!

Get ready for lots of cute and fun pictures! We went to Bear Lake on Saturday and had a BLAST! Rachael and Phil let us have Taylor and Jessica for a couple of days and so we took full advantage of "buddies" and headed east. We got there just after lunch after a few extra stops in the canyon due to Kamryn being super car sick and threatening to "throw-up". We found a good place for the chairs and umbrella and settled down for a great day! Gary took the kids out to the sand bar which was much farther out this year than last thanks to all the rain. The water is about waist level for about 50 yards. It was perfect weather and the kids had a blast. After playing in the water and on the floaters, they then devised a river way in the sand and could have stayed a lot longer playing and moving sand. But, I was starving and we left for dinner. We ordered our food at Quick and Tasty and took it to the church across the street to eat in the shade and after eating EXCELLENT food. The kids and Gary played soccer while I fed Keaton. We then loaded up in the van and made it home. It was a fantastic day and a great weekend!

On Sunday we went to meet Rachael to let her have Jess and Taylor back and we met at the Nursing Home my Grandma is in, so we could see her and get pictures with the new babies. When we walked in she was in her wheelchair asleep and it took a lot of tries to get her to wake up (it was about 7:20 pm) So while we were waiting I let Kyler hold Keaton in his stroller and he was SO excited!

He certainly doesn't miss many meals. Such a cute and GREAT baby! I told him the other night if all babies were like him we would have 10!

On Monday night we went to do some service at the Bishop's/ Ward garden and Keaton was just as good as ever.

Two Weeks Notice

Today I gave my two weeks notice at one of my jobs. It was hard, but things around here need to change and we hope this is the way to do it. Since I've had Keaton I have only been working 15-20 hours a week there, but it seems like I am always worried about work or having to run in for a meeting or an admit and then Gary is home and can't get to work.
So, I quit and we'll get Gary to work and growing his business! Because that is our goal, not me working and him taking care of the kids.
I am looking forward to being home more and actually getting to play with the kids this summer. We have not been to the park, the pool or really up to anything fun (except this weekend! I'll post pictures soon) the whole summer.
I have been wondering about it for a while; and then Thursday it just seemed right and Friday everything worked out perfectly, Saturday I had so much fun just being with the kids I got excited and Sunday while praying about it- I felt great. Today I went to tell my director and it went okay. But tonight I am hoping that I didn't just make things really tough around here. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Our Friend Kara did some picture of the kids for us at Gardner village and they turned out GREAT! Kara worked so had to get all of the kids to look at her, but alas with 4 it is harder than you think it is going to be to get pictures. I thought we would be there 30-45 minutes to get the 3 older kids and Rachael's three older kids pictures done. Whoa- 2 hours later we headed to Kara's to photograph the babies. Now that was an adventure all of its own. Check back for pictures from that night and a 2nd day to try to get pictures of the babies- alone and with cousins!

Kaden's Birthday!!

On June 7th Kaden turned 6! So that weekend we went to Incredible Pizza at the Factory Outlet and the kids had a ball. Dinner was great and Rachael and Phil had a great coupon they shared that got the kids extra attractions. We had a wonderful night!

Warning: I am not an expert blogger these pictures are not in the order I had hoped.
In May I was able to "get" to go back to work. Kyler has been lucky to be able to spend lots of time with his favorite person "Grandma up the Street".

We have taken lots of walks to the river trail. The kids have loved it. The weather has made it a little challenging to go at times.

In May we got to go to a lot of soccer games. We absolutely loved it. Kamryn and Kaden did so great. Both had a couple of goals and Kamryn even tried out goalie and oved it. She only got scored on once!

On May 3rd we celebrated Kyler's 2nd Birthday. He has turned out to be the greatest! We love him so much. He talks non-stop, keeps us laughing, loves JoJo (kamryn) and McBain (kaden) and it so fun to have around!

He got an "Elmo" bike for his birthday and has loved every second on it.

We had a fun party at Grandma's house.

Keaton started smiling in May and he hasn't stopped. He is the best! and is always SMiLiNG!

Mother's Day

Since I am very behind at blogging. I decided that I will post Mother's Day and then I will do all of May in one post, so check back soon to see how much fun we've had. On Mother's Day we went to SLC to see Rachael and Phil's new baby Tyson- oh he is so cute! We had lots of fun with everyone and got lots of picture of the 3 newest babies!

Everything turned out so perfectly it was a great day. Keaton ate, burped right away, and slept until he was blessed. Kamryn wasn't scared or anxious- she kept saying "I want to get baptized again, it felt so good". We had such great support from our ward and our families- that we really couldn't have had a better day.

Thanks so much to everyone for coming and helping us have a day we won't soon forget!

We've been having fun with the camera. The only problem is I don't know how to arrange them on here like I'd like. I've had to add them again, again because I keep deleting them somehow. Keaton has been the BEST baby! He is so much FUN. Kamryn would hold him all day if she could. Kaden and Kyler want more and more pictures with him. He is a great addition to our family. We don't know what we'd do without him already!

She seems okay with it right now, especially when we reminded her that she gets her own room.

Kaden of course is thrilled and Kyler doesn't know whats going on. We are very excited and it will be great to have the two boys close together.

For Dinner we went and got Wendy's then went to the mouth of Logan Canyon- Ray Hugie Park and ate, played on the swings, fed squirrels, looked at the chickens, and gave chips to the ducks.

Gary's mom still works at the dairy for 10 more days and took us out to see a premature cow. Wow she was so cute and was showing off for the kids by running and wanting to play with them. See they are not even scared of her- ha ha

Sunday- I was released. What a crazy day- I got my YW medallion, got released, got a new calling as Activity Day Leader and then I had to speak in sacrament! For being such a sad day, it also was a very spiritual day. The seniors spoke, the girls sang and I was finally at peace (i had not been at peace since the Bishop told me the dreadful news on mothers day). I sure am going to miss all the awesome YW in our ward- We have the BEST! But I am looking forward to my new calling and of course will still stay in touch!

Seat Belts really do save lives!

So on Tuesday, I was minding my own business driving down the highway at 65 mph when all of the sudden the road turned and the car did not.
I over-corrected, swerved, flipped the opposite direction (into on coming traffic) and then rolled smashing the drivers side windows and eventually landing on all four wheels again.

As I was trying to find my phone to call Gary, spectators were gathering. Luckily once the Highway Patrol, Logan City PD and Sheriffs Dept. all showed up- the scene was in good hands.
The car was in a ditch full of water- YUCK! and had to be towed, but I only have a little cut on my hand. Maybe because I get to go to the Temple 3 times this week, I had a few guardian angels watching over me.
When I finally reached Gary- I just happened to be laughing so he didn't believe me when I told him I had just totalled the car.
When he got there to pick me up- He was a believer!
Gary said I can go off-roading again as long as I keep the wheels on the ground.

What Work makes you Grateful For-

I got a call today from the home care supervisor. She said "I just got payroll and did you know that you had 18 hours of overtime?" That's right- Two weeks ago I worked 62 hours between both of my jobs! I can tell you that I am worn out, and I will probably have 50 hours from last week. But, working has definately made me much more grateful for my totally, totally awesome husband and the 3 greatest kids ever. I am learning how much fun they are, and how it is most important to have quality time with them. I have come to know that even though they only see me for about 30 minutes in the morning and 2-3 hours at night- they still know who I am and still love me no matter what. And I Love them too! It's great to really enjoy spending time together! I so totally envy and miss being a stay at home mom, but hopefull that opportunity will come my way again- really soon!

We did find time last Monday night to go to the Bishop's home to help plant his enormous garden- that he will share! The pictue is of Kyler on his tractor, with only half of the garden behind him.

Wii Bowling- Superhero Style

The YM were in charge of this activity- they set up Wii's, 2 on each side of the Gym and had them projected on the wall. The Kids- dressed as Superhero's, got in teams and played bowling. They then had prozes for the best costumes and top points (team). It was an awesome activity and it cost nothing!

Can you believe it? Kyler is a total bully- but a nice bully. He is so different from Kam and Kaden that we are sure he is going to be a wild man. He is soooooooooo much fun we are all loving him (except Porter). He loves to move, can't hold still for a second, army crawls OVER everything and is always babbling about all how much he loves his mom. What a cutie.

Kamryn and Gary (we had raccoons on our roof when we lived at 13th East- they were living in the chimney and would keep Gary awake all night walking around on the roof and jumping on it from the tree after looking for food) So as I was taking the picture I said "show me what you think of the Raccoons"- I just Love it!

Gary and I have now been married for 12 YEARS! can you believe it?

How fun the last 12 years have been- with 7 moves, 6 job changes (for each of us), 3 dogs (none living with us anymore), 3 kids and I can't even keep track of how many different cars and trucks. Even through all of this, life has been so much fun together and I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for everything! I sure love ya.

On Sunday night Kaden awoke in the middle of the night and came into bed with us, he was in the middle and he and I were facing each other. After a little while he woke me up and said-"Mom, your snore is getting in my eye!" , he then wanted to go to his own bed. What cute kid.

On that same night only earlier Kamryn and I were talking about school the next day a what to do if she missed the bus- her constant worry. She said "Mom, I'm just a worry kid". All of you that know Kamryn know this is true. I don't know who told her she was- but it fits.

Last weekend we had Rachael's kids and my mom come and stay with us. The kids were really quiet and this is how I found them, all of them, playing- without being forced- Pretty, Pretty, Princess. For those of you who have never played it. You spin and move spaces whatever you land on you put on that piece of jewelry. The boys had a blast. On Saturday morning we then got up and went sledding. It was great- all the kids went down the big hill, Jessica even made the jump and landed somewhat gracefully. Of course I forgot the camera, but the kids had tons of fun and didn't even seem to notice the freezing cold wind blowing out of the canyon. What troopers!

Then it was time to get ready for bed- the boys got matching pj's for Christmas so we needed pictures.

Taylor had so much fun the night before playing pretty, pretty princess he dressed up (all on his own) in the blue jewelry. SO CUTE!

Can you believe it?... Eight Months already

Kyler is sooooooo much fun lately. Today at church many people commented on what a good kid he has been in the last couple weeks, comments like "I don't hear the baby crying, are they at church?" or "Wow, you were able to stay for all of sacrament." He is getting tons of teeth, babbling, hugging, kissing and grabbing at everything. We sure love him.

Tonight as we were driving home from Macey's this was the conversation Kaden and I had:

Kaden- "I remember making Grandpa and Grandma's bed when I was two."

Kaden is so much fun, his tummy tells him all sort of things and he is feeling whatever his tummy is. He will say- "My tummy is tired", then go upstairs and go to sleep. We love having him around he sure keeps us entertained.

Do you remember when you loved to dress up in all your snow clothes, and you could play outside forever and you never felt the cold? Okay- I can't either, but Kamryn and Kaden have loved the snow we've had this year. (all inch of it) They will stay out side for hours playing on the sled and they even were able to make snowmen all by themselves! Awesome!

7 Months!

Now I know I haven't been very good at posting blogs lately, but holy cow- it seems like I did the six month pictures yesterday. Kyler is now 7 months and has become a pretty good boy! He is so cute and rolls everywhere. He is getting better at sitting up and is a good eater. He loves daddy and bath time. He says da da da all the time and is a horrible teether- he likes to bite mommy. We are loving having him in our family and Kamryn and Kaden can't get enough of him. If he makes a peep during his nap they are ready to run in and be the first to talk to him. Life with three kids is definitely totally crazy, but we are having lots of fun together!

All Gary asked for for his birthday was a Corvette- this is what he got!
(this is my first time ever making a cake that was not just in a pan with sprinkles on it- its not beautiful, but it works.)
Maybe next time he'll specify what kind of Corvette.

What I LOVE about Gary-
He is the GREATEST Dad ever! He is SO helpful with the kids- he is more like the mom than me, he's the one who gets up a night with them, bathes them (most of the time), plays with them, reads to them and adores them.
He can make me laugh no matter what mood I'm in and he tries extra hard when I am grumpy- lately he's been working over time!
He always tells me I look good in what I'm wearing or that I look cute today- no matter what I look like, make-up or not.
He works hard everyday to get his business growing then comes home and helps with the kids, the house and is always willing to give me a backrub or listen to whatever I want to talk about. He is a totally awesome husband- I am very lucky to be married to him- FOREVER!!!

We went to check out the brand new Dollar Tree that came in close to our house and I let the kids each pick out a "toy". Kamryn picked out these teeth and at first I was going to say NO to her getting them, but I decided 'what the heck- they are a dollar', Kam and Kade have had SO much fun with them -its amazing. Plus they sure make for fun pictures!

This box has been around since before Kyler was born, so since at least April. It is one of Kamryn and Kaden's favorite things to play in. It has been; a rocket ship, a cave, a house- doll and dog, an elevator and just a box. They have laughed and laughed playing with it. IT has entertained them for hours at a time- amazing! Well, Friday one of the more wild neighborhood boys came over and jumped on it- it broke. They handled it great and the best part is now we won't have to worry about where to keep it!

We were at my Mom's house last weekend and I had a great idea to entertain the kids... paint leaves then turn them over and make designs on paper. Sounds pretty great right? Oh oops- I didn't clear it with Rachael, and my mom only had acrylic paint- which doesn't wash out very well. Sorry Rach! But at least the kids had a blast!

Too Much Fun at Grandma's House

Kaden had a bad weekend for his poor chin and mouth. Saturday he was running by the swingset at Grandma's fell and punctured his chin= lots of blood. Then Sunday, playing frisbee he took one in the mouth. I'm glad he didn't have preschool on Monday.

Looks like fun doesn't it. Kamryn and Kaden couldn't be any happier then when Kyler gets to hop in the tub with them. Kamryn has just decided she loves to take a shower, but she can't pass up a chance to hold Kyler. So she'll get in the tub and then shower off after- the best of both worlds!

A visit from the Toothfairy

On Saturday Kamryn lost her first tooth! Luckily on Sunday moring Kamryn slept in so that the Tooth Fairy had time to remember to take her tooth and leave money- a whole six quarters! WOW- she was so excited- I can only imagine what the morning would have been like if the Tooth Fairy had inadvertantly forgotten. Let's just say thank goodness she didn't.

Fishing Elders Quorum Style

Our wards Elders Quorum Social was fishing at The Roundy's pond. They had tons of Rainbow trout. Everyone that wanted to catch a fish, I'm sure they did. Gary and the kids caught 6. It was an awesome night and lots of fun for the moms. Since all the dads were fishin with the kids we were able to sit and talk. What a great activity! Thanks Roundys.

Kamryn's desk- when I went to pick her up from school, she was crying and crying because she was sure I would not be there to get her. Her teacher said she would sit her next to Hannah the next day. (Hannah and Olivia- another friend, are right behind her here)

Day 2- What a morning! Kamryn informed me she was not going to school today because it was too long. Hannah's mom called and said she was letting Hannah stay home because she was throwing a fit for the same reasons. Kamryn was not going to get out that easy, I noticed the neighbor kids on their way to the bus so I grabbed her put her shoes on ( as she is retching from being so upset) and we headed for the bus. The neighbor Amanda's class is right next to Kamryn's so she will get her to the right class, and make sure she gets on the right bus home. Too bad she will have to eat lunch with someone besides Hannah. It will make her know she is BRAVE and can do anything (I hope) She is such a great kid- I Love her and miss her so much!

On Thursday our activity for YW's was a Temple picture and story trip, as we were listening to the story I noticed a rainbow behind some of the girls and thought that this was an awesome picture. To have the Temple, a rainbow and 3 of my laurels in a picture together!

I am copying Rachael (well she's the one that gave us the outfits) by dressing my boys the same. They sure do look super cute and Kaden thought it was the greatest thing ever- to have Kyler look just like him. Kamryn got after me because she didn't match and told me I needed to go and buy them all the same thing to wear. What fun we are having this summer!

S'more party after Testimony Meeting
Girls Camp was awesome. Our theme was "Like the Stars" We all got sweatshirts with our names on the hoods and loves them. The first night we had a "star search" skit night, then the next night a speaker who brought a telescope and taught us all about the stars and the last night we had a faith walk and testimony meeting- what a great experience ans fun time we all had!
I love my calling and especially spending girls camp with all the great YW!
